→Troubleshooting 5- Keypad does not light up
There are 3 possible scenarios
- Batteries have run out
- Replace batteries (Alkaline)
- Cable from outbody may not be connected to the inbody
- Disassemble the inbody by removing the 4 screws from the unit (2 behind the batteries, 2 at the bottom corners)
- Lift inbody off the door and check if a thick white cable from the outbody is connected
- Check connection of cable. Please ensure cable is firmly connected
- Light module in keypad is faulty
- To check if the light module is faulty, please touch the keypad. If the keypad is allowing you to enter numbers, but no numbers are lit up, it means that the lighting module in the keypad is faulty. Please send video, proof of purchase, serial number and contact details to au@digitaldoorlocks.com.au. If within warranty period, replacement outbody to be sent out
